Lake Monger Rehabilitation project 1999 - 2005

EMS worked with the Town of Cambridge for six years in the deployment of the Lake Monger revegetation program. This project commenced in 1999 and reached practical completion in 2004, with the development of a small nutrient stripping basin at the south east end of the lake. During the past six years, EMS has planted approximately 50,000 seedlings, the majority of which are now semi-mature trees and shrubs, and fully established fringing wetland vegetation.

Lower South Dandalup

EMS started working with Water Corporation at Lower South Dandalup in 1998 with the commencement of a planting program designed to reduce erosion and improve water quality within the catchment area. Over three years EMS planted over 150,000 native trees and shrubs, as well as sowing native seeds and installing rushes and sedges into the areas many creeks and sumplands. Today EMS continues to provide ongoing weed control to ensure the long term success of the plantings.
