Our Services
We provide both in-home and out of home respite with days and times structured to best suit the needs of carers and people with mental illness. Day, evening or weekend respite can allow a carer to attend regular weekly events (such as a class or shopping trip), or to enjoy unstructured time in or out of the home, whilst having a break from their carer role.
In Home Services
We provide in home support to the person with mental illness whilst the carer engages in their preferred activities.
Community Participation
The purpose of the Community Participation model is to provide support for a person with mental illness to engage in activities that develop social, recreational or vocational goals.
Centre Based
Support is provided to the person with mental illness in one of our centres in the metropolitan area whilst the carer engages in their preferred activities. This assists the person with mental illness to build their capacity and progress towards engagement in community participation of their choice.
Community Based
Respite for the carer is achieved by providing support to the person with mental illness in their local community. This assists the care recipient to further build their capacity to engage in the community participation of their choice.
